In the immortal words of Sir Walter Scott:  “Oh What a Tangled Web We Weave, When First We Practice to Deceive!!”

Indeed!  I would submit that the biggest problem with promoting a massive lie to millions of trusting people, is the need to employ a full time Public Relations firm (the Edomite firm Edelman) to spew all new propaganda in the hope that the millions who have been duped will never catch on to the lies and ludicrously false doctrines of the past!    So it is with the LDS “Mormon” Church.

Any truly HONEST Mormon who was born “under the covenant” in the 50’s; who attended their “Church Education System” (CES) Seminary classes regularly during the 60’s and 70’s, can testify that the LDS Church’s official DOCTRINE AND POLICY concerning blacks was clearly:  1.  In the “pre-existence” the spirits who were not “valiant” were doomed to be born with a “dark and loathsome” skin.   (“Dark and Loathsome” is a Book of Mormon term: 1 Nephi 12:23)  2.  Conversely, those spirits who were “valiant” were born with a “white and delightsome” skin.  (The term “white and delightsome” in the B of M was changed by the LDS 1st Presidency to read “fair and delightsome” in 1978.)  3.  The “curse” of Cain for killing his brother Abel was a black, skin. (The Negro race.)  4. The most holy and divine “most correct book on earth” Book of Mormon’s central theme is:  if people are obedient to God and His anointed PROPHETS, you will be blessed with not only material WEALTH, but also a “white and delightsome” skin – but those who “murmur” and question the prophets of God will soon “dwindle in unbelief” and become a “dark and loathsome, and a filthy people, full of idleness and all manner of abominations.”  (B of M 1 Nephi 12:23.)  How is that not pervasively racist?

Now, in 2012, such teachings are incredibly “politically incorrect”.   Indeed, they are morally offensive.   Yes, such abhorrent notions are indeed just plain FALSE!  They have NEVER been true at any time, or in any place!!!  Agreed?

So you see, the official Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints definitely has a most sticky, tangled web it needs to un-weave somehow.  They have a real dilemma.  The Web is hopelessly tangled!   On one hand they have their TRUE history – the teachings of their founding “prophets” – especially the arch-racist, Master Mason named Brigham Young.  On the other, they and their Edomite brethren in Israel desire desperately to see Mittens Romney ascend to the U.S. presidency – and so they MUST openly and forcefully deny their racist past as being merely a “myth”.   That’s their answer to un-tangling the sticky web.   They say officially that Mormon racism is all a massive myth – a mere “folk belief”!    In other words, they promote another LIE, to cover up and obfuscate another primary lie.   Makes perfect sense to me – how about you, dear Reader???  Are you buying ANY of this fertilizer?

Mormon 'Prophet" Brigham Young with Masonic Emblem

Let’s analyze the teachings and doctrines of Mormon “Prophet” Brigham Young to uncover the truth.  Brigham Young declared:

“You see some classes of the human family that are black, uncouth, uncomely, disagreeable and low in their habits, wild, and seemingly deprived of nearly all the blessings of the intelligence that is generally bestowed upon mankind….Cain slew his brother.  Cain might have been killed, and that would have put a termination to that line of human beings.  This was not to be, and the Lord put a  mark upon him, which is the flat nose and black skin.” (Journal of Discourses, vol. 7, p. 290).

“In our first settlement in Missouri, it was said by our enemies that we intended to tamper with the slaves, not that we had any idea of the kind, for such a thing never entered our minds. We knew that the children of Ham were to be the “servant of servants,” and no power under heaven could hinder it, so long as the Lord would permit them to welter under the curse and those were known to be our religious views concerning them.” (Journal of Discourses, vol. 2, p. 172).
“Shall I tell you the law of God in regard to the African race? If the white man who belongs to the chosen seed mixes his blood with the seed of Cain, the penalty, under the law of God, is death on the spot. This will always be so.” (Journal of Discourses, vol. 10, p. 110).

I don’t know about you, but to me those three quotes are pretty clear.  Nothing “mythical” about them at all!   Don’t forget, Dear Readers, Mormons are taught that the written words of their “prophets” are “scripture”.   They believe that the “prophet” can never “lead them astray”.  Brigham Young hammered this “basic Gospel principle” home constantly: “I say now, when they [his discourses] are copied and approved by me they are as good Scripture as is couched in this Bible . . . ” (Journal of Discourses, vol. 13, p. 264; see also p. 95).

Brigham’s racist discourses on the Negro race were indeed “copied and approved” by him.  As a matter of fact (not myth) it was the founding principle of Mormonism from 1840, until abandoned by edict of Spencer Woolley Kimball in 1978 – and only THEN because the Executive Order of President Carter would have stripped LDS Inc. of it’s non-profit status if it continued denying Church “priesthood” to the negro race!   This “myth” stood as a most basic pillar of Mormon doctrine for at least 138 years.   Can you see how deeply this “web” of deceit and deception is tangled?

Professors of “religion” at Mormon-owned Brigham Young University are facing their own dilemma now.  How can any honest BYU “professor” in good faith promulgate and promote so obvious a lie – which is, that the LDS Church was NEVER, EVER, RACIST – when the very namesake of their institution was, and their own Book of Mormon yet is, so very clear on this topic?   Worse, they are being muzzled and told not to discuss this “tangled web” with the media. (At least until the elections are over.)   They are facing a “heads I win, tales you lose” situation without a doubt.

C’mon people at BYU and LDS Inc. headquarters – try HONESTY for a change.   Jesus Christ clearly was no racist – so what does that tell you about Brigham Young?   Honestly!   It tells you that he was not a prophet, much less even a pure disciple of Jesus Christ.   Then what does THAT mean?   Logically, it means that Joseph Smith’s “priesthood keys” were given from some other source than Christ Himself.   Then what does THAT men?   Yes indeed, it means that the Mormon “priesthood” is just one big scam – that it most definitely is not TRUE!   Again – “Oh What a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive!’  This means abandoning a massive multi-billion dollar empire doesn’t it?   Seems this brings up another most salient point: “You can’t serve God and Mammon” You will either hold one, and despise the other, according to Matthew 6:24.  Which will it be, good Mormon people?

That’s the beauty of TRUTH – it usually prevails over time.   You see, Jesus Christ is Eternal and NEVER CHANGING – for HE is “The Way, The TRUTH, and THE LIFE.”  Conversely, Satan, the adversary of Truth, is the deceiver and liar.  His stories and his “other gospel” is always changing and being modified as is politically expedient.  The PURE GOSPEL OF GRACE hasn’t changed for over 2,000 years.   Time Heals All Wounds, and Time also Wounds all Heals.
